As a team of injury management and transition specialists who are passionate about what they do, the ADAPT team sit within the People & Culture Division of AV. Overseeing Human Resources, Injury Management, Organisational Design, Workplace Relations & Workforce Transition, AV is currently seeking an experienced transition specialist or agency recruiter to join the team.

This is a full time, permanent position currently based at our head office in Doncaster.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workforce Transition & Strategies, the focus of the Specialist Workforce Transition is ensuring employees have pathways to sustainable employment and vocational pursuits following an injury.

The responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to:

- Provide return to work services for long-term ill/injured employees, including, but not limited to the development, implementation and coordination of durable transitional outcomes in a confidential and respectful manner.
- Targeted employee centred transition support and consultation; transferrable skills analysis, job seeking support and job coaching.
- Act as a liaison for workforce transition and consult with managers and staff regarding the long term ill/injured process across Ambulance Victoria
- Ensure all redeployment practises meet EBA requirements and liaise with the Union where additional information is required
- Participate in AV projects that impact on transition & redeployment as a Subject Matter Expert

**ABOUT YOU**

The role is suited to a multi-disciplined individual who has experience within large, complex organisations and has a strong background in HR, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Employment Support and WorkCover.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- A significant understanding of organisational redeployment and mobility issues, and various legislation, organisational objectives and relevant staff agreements that impact upon these issues
- Applied knowledge of worker's compensation legislation & relevant practices
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and, address sensitive issues with staff and managers
- Knowledge of the Victorian labour market and health care industry
- Experience providing employment support services and career counselling/coaching to professionals

This position is graded an **AV4** for which the salary range is **$97,609 - $122,156 **pa plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade.
