**About Us**:
Over 100 years ago in November 1920, the Royal Aero Club of New South Wales was founded by aviators of the Australian Flying Corps upon their return from the Great War.

Today we operate from Camden Airport embracing our rich heritage as we shape the next generation of pilots, leaders, and aviators. We are also uniquely positioned as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest volunteer-run Part 141 Flight Training Organisation with all the RACNSW team including management, flight crew members, and ground operations donating their time and knowledge to mentor young people as they upskill for future careers in aviation

**About the Role**:

Join us from Sat 4th to Sun 12th January 2025, as we hold a Flying Training Camp This is an opportunity to support high-school aged kids (some as young as 14) put wings on their dreams, with many going from zero flying experience and will be working towards their first solo. By taking part, you’ll be helping shape the future of aviation with this program an embodiment of everything great about our industry - passion, mentorship, and community. You’ll be part of a team of diverse individuals from all walks of life all committed to making this the best possible start in aviation for student pilots.

**Qualifications**:

- Must hold or be able to hold a NSW Working With Children Check.
- Must at a minimum hold a CPL(A) rating issued under CASR Part 61.
- Must at a minimum hold a Flight Instructor Rating Grade 3, Grade 2, or Grade 1 training endorsement (desirable to hold a current flight proficiency check but not a requirement).
- Must at a minimum hold/be able to obtain a valid Class 2 aviation medical.
- Must have reliable transport to attend Camden Airport (ie. Hold a driver licence and own a car).
- Knowledge of CASR Part 61 flight crew licensing legislation and CASR Part 141 flight training legislation or willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Desirable to hold a Night VFR rating training endorsement.
