**About Luci**

Luci is a contemporary Australian restaurant with Italian influences set in the grand hall of the historic Equity Chambers Building. We serve a buffet breakfast daily and an à la carte service during dinner.

**About the role**

We are on the lookout for talented and enthusiastic team members. You will understand the importance of professional customer service and be capable of providing nothing less than the best to our guests.

In your new role you will be an energetic individual, responsible for upholding the highest quality standards within Luci. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will enjoy working as part of a team on a rotating roster, in a fast-paced environment.

**We are looking for team members to work either**:

- Breakfast shifts from 6am until 12pm
- Dinner shifts from 5pm until midnight.

**What will I be doing?**
- Create a warm welcome for all guests
- Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner, including but not limited to serving as a food runner, barista or bartender when required
- Understand menu content, any menu changes and promotional activities
- Preparing of mise-en-place
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well prepared service area
- Demonstrate high standards of customer service

**What are we looking for?**
- Must have a current and valid Victorian ‘Responsible Service of Alcohol’ certificate
- Demonstrated experience within a fine dining restaurant is highly regarded
- Friendly, positive, energetic disposition with a charismatic personality capable of delivering exceptional customer service
- Fluent in the English in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict, and work effectively under pressure
- Good organisational skills
- Well-presented and calm demeanour
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Willingness and ability to work 25 hours, around a 7 day week roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $28.46 - $39.85 per hour
