Cheesemonger

Le Fromage Yard is looking for someone to join our team who is available Tuesdays to Saturdays for our shop (and potentially other weekday shifts - would suit uni student).

**MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL DECEMBER**

This person needs to be fit enough to lift wheels of cheese and be on their feet. We currently have a fantastic team that gels very well and would love someone that can work hard, open to learning and have fun. Age is no issue, we just want team members with plenty of drive, confidence, flexibility, quick learners and someone looking for a long term position. Someone with a passion for wines or has wine experience or the cheese industry would be a huge plus, but not essential.

✔ has experience in wines or cheese - whether selling, restaurant work or hobby wine enthusiast (not necessary, but a plus)
✔ loves learning new skills and knowledge, especially about food and in particular cheese.
✔ a fast learner, who can multi task and keep up in a fast paced environment
✔ will put in extra hours after work to learn the products
✔ friendly, loves talking and helping customers **(MUST)**
✔ experienced in retail and/or food service
✔ looking for work between uni days/study
✔happy to have **ALL**of January off _(it's our annual closure period)_

Around 10-20 hours a week with possibilities of more (especially during busy periods).
