**Signorelli Fresh Market** is a well known reputable green grocer located in the heart of Balwyn, Victoria. We cater in fresh fruit and vegetables, tasteful grocery items and serve a proud local community with quality products and outstanding service. We are looking for a dedicated **Assistant Store Manager** to join and lead our team.

**Role Overview**

We’re seeking a motivated **Assistant Store Manager** with proven experience in retail, ideally in fresh produce and grocery operations, but not necessary. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staff supervision, inventory control, and ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and manage daily operations
- Lead, train, and supervise staff
- Manage stock levels, orders, and supplier relations
- Ensure product quality, particularly fresh produce
- Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards
- Review rosters and assist with payroll reporting
- Ensure compliance with food safety and OH&S regulations
- Handle customer service issues and drive satisfaction
- Assist with sales reporting and budgeting
- Minimum 1-2 years of retail management experience
- Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS and inventory systems
- Experience in a supermarket is a plus
