Pasteurisation Operator

**Position Summary**:
The Pasteurisation Operator plays a pivotal role in the production operations of Mundella Foods. This position is responsible for all batch mixing of bulk products produced on site, including critical pasteurising and homogenising processes.

The role involves the accurate execution of bulk yoghurt recipes in strict accordance with company procedures and quality control measures to ensure consistent and high-quality products. The position operates on a rotating roster between day shift and night/early morning shift.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, work instructions, recipes, and reasonable directives.
- Perform all duties safely and in compliance with all WHS requirements, actively participating in safety initiatives.
- Ensure high levels of compliance with all food safety and quality standards.
- Accurately record production and quality information using provided forms and logs.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work environment, adhering to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.
- Handle and use chemicals responsibly for cleaning and sanitisation purposes.
- Participate proactively in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Liaise effectively with other departments to achieve production targets and outcomes.
- Report any product or process non-conformance or machinery issues to the relevant supervisor or manager.
- Ensure that appropriate samples are collected for QA testing.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience in batch process manufacturing, preferably within a food production environment.
- Dairy production experience highly regarded but not essential.
- Demonstrated understanding of hygiene and quality control requirements.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and safely enter tanks, vessels, and confined spaces.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including early mornings or nights.

Pay: $24.95 - $35.00 per hour
