Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

- Academic achievement and interest in Haematology; proven ability to succeed in medical examinations.
- nterpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a team member and to relate successfully with other staff at all levels.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both spoken and written English in formal, informal presentation of scientific, teaching or clinical material.
- Ability, interest and willingness to participate in the teaching of pathology and research.

Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- MBBS or equivalent, and must be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
- The incumbent must become a registered trainee with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasi
- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD and Covid Vaccination) requirements
- It will be a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against one or more of the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment: Hepatitis A & B, Measles, Mumps, Pertussis, Rubella and Varicella.
- Additional vaccinations including Japanese Encephalitis and Rabies may also be required for this position.
