**About the role**
We are looking for casual educators to support and build our Avalon OSHC team. Our OSHC is located on the beautiful grounds of Maria Regina Primary School and is open from 3:00pm to 6pm in the afternoons Monday to Friday during term time with shifts starting at 2:30pm.

We have casual shifts available in after school care during term time with the potential for extra shifts across all of our Northern Beaches sites including Vacation Care. Roster flexibility and reliability to turn up to a shift will be key to being successful in this role. This casual position would provide flexibility for someone already studying or working part time.

**Duties**
Working in our Out of School Hours Care is both rewarding and fun with the opportunity to be creative with caring for school age children.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An ability to build ongoing positive relationships with children, their families and school staff.
- A commitment to ensuring all policies, procedures and regulatory frameworks are met.
- An understanding about safeguarding children and provision of a safe work environment.
- Attend training as required.
- Be reliable and flexible with shift availability.

**Requirements**:

- Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check

**Highly Desirable**
- Experience in working in Outside School Hours Car
- Qualifications
- Diploma or Cert III in OSHC
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the team and with children aged 5-12
