**The opportunity**

We’re looking for a seasoned Azure Consultant to join our public cloud team in Melbourne. We’d love a real team player who loves hands-on delivery but is also really comfortable in pre-sales, designing and delivering public cloud solutions to our external customers. Our team loves collaborating and learning from one another and is genuinely passionate about technology.

**Responsibilities**
- Use your consulting skills to provide our customers with the best technical solutions to enable their business by leveraging your understanding of the customer requirements to scope best practices and leading workshops.
- Lead the design, development and delivery of technology consulting engagements; providing technical authority for the overall design, approach and customer deliverables and producing exemplary technical and non-technical documentation for customers
- Act as a central point of customer contact for technical communications and escalations, and leverage your deep experience and lessons learned to develop issue mitigation strategies and support your team in resolving risks to service delivery
- Engage and manage key stakeholder relationships both internally (e.g. across Telstra Purple Sales, Delivery) and externally with customers) to deliver outstanding solutions.

**About you**
- You're a seasoned professional with proven experience in pre-sales, consulting, design and implementation.
- Fundamentally strong on cloud identity solutions and implementing them securely
- Proven track record on end-to-end delivery of cloud-based projects in Public Cloud migration,
- Proven experience in Cloud Computing (Public/Multi/Hybrid)
- Understands Infrastructure as Code and DevOps to build repeatable and automated deployments.
- Proven hands-on skills in Azure Services
- Experience in capacity planning and cost optimisation techniques
- Experience with Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender for Cloud is highly desirable
- Scripting tools like PowerShell, JSON and YAML to automate solutions is a plus
- Knowledge and experience with complexities of migration and transformation within Enterprise and Government environments
- You have industry certifications like Azure Solutions Expert or similar
