We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator who would like to join our professional team at Children’s Village Northmead which is opening in January 2023, a 92 place centre. Children’s Village is a family run business that has been operating since 2008. Children’s Village currently has three centres in Sydney’s West. You will be required to support the team and facilitate the growth of our educational standards. At Children’s Village we provide highest quality care and educational standards. Our philosophy and practices are strongly influenced by Reggio Emilia.

Our centre is open from 7:00am-6:00pm, this position is open to certificate III applicants.

At Children’s Village we have a strong experienced team, who are supported by our director with over 30 years of experience in childcare as well as our experienced nominated supervisor and educational leader. You will be supported by our Director, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leaders and have opportunity for career progression and continuous learning.

**Skills and experience required**

We are looking for someone for an immediate start. The following criteria apply
- Already Hold a Certificate III (recognised by ACECQA)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of National Quality Framework and Regulations
- An understanding and ability to use the Early Years Learning Framework
- A current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain)
- A genuine desire to work with young children
- An ability to work as part of a team
- experience or willingness to document children's learning in an aesthetically pleasing and meaningful way
- Be aware and able to implement play based learning approaches
