**THE ROLE**

This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer who wants to be fast tracked into Management and gain leadership experience. Work in a supportive team culture with excellent progression opportunities to step up your career and assist the Payroll Manager with the team of 6.- Assisting with the implementation work
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with reviewing payroll that has been processed
- Assisting payroll team with the accuracy and completion of payroll, calculations, and lodgements of PAYG and Payroll Tax
- Following up with any escalations
- Provide continued training, coaching and developing team

**THE PERSON**
- Minimum 5 years' experience with end-to-end payroll
- Experience dealing with escalations and complaints
- Ability to support a team
- Able to handle complex situations
- Superior understanding of ATO legislation related to payroll
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and a can-do attitude with a focus on getting things done
