**The Role**

We are seeking enthusiastic bilingual persons (preferable) to join our support staff but will accept monolingual applicants. The role is to support our clients across the Inner West, South East, South West and North Sydney regions by undertaking the following:

- Providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support
- Shopping and transport assistance
- Supervising client’s medication within doctor’s advice
- Monitoring changes to client’s health and reporting to the line manager

**The Requirements**
- Languages we are currently seeking fluency in are **Greek, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, and Italian.**:

- Unrestricted Australian work rights
- Annual flu vaccine
- Full COVID-19 vaccination (including booster)
- Police Check within 6 months of date of issue
- NDIS Worker Check
- Access to your own Third-Party property insured car
- NSW driver’s license
- Smart phone

**Who you are**

You will have an awareness of the needs of aged and special needs clients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and be competent with the use of a smart phone.

Also desirable, but not essential, is experience working with the frail aged and people with disabilities and/or a Certificate III in Aged Care.

In order to adequately service our client’s needs, you are someone who would like to work in the Inner West, South East, South West and North Sydney regions.

Please note: Pay rates will be inclusive of the 15% increase recently announced by The Fair Work Commission. Once this has been implemented across the industry, Multicultural Care will implement this for each workers salary. Date TBA as per the Commission.
