Award winning Gaia Retreat and Spa located in the Byron Bay hinterland has an exciting career opportunity for you to join our dynamic kitchen team. Gaia Retreat & Spa is one of Australia’s most awarded boutique lifestyle wellness retreats. We offer a luxurious nurturing space for those wishing to relax, realign and recharge. Located high up in the stunning sub-tropical Byron Bay Hinterland, Gaia boasts magnificent views on 25 acres which includes two kitchen gardens, beehives, resident chickens and an aquaponics system.

Our food philosophy continually sets to create and serve the world’s best wellness cuisine, and our culinary team brings to life the best local, seasonal, sustainable and organic produce.

**Essential Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must be Reliable, Energetic and Enthusiastic
- Have commercial kitchen experience
- Be able to work at a quick and consistent pace
- Be willing to follow instructions and complete tasks allotted to them
- Ability to clean and take pride in their work area.

We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working within a small kitchen team in a growing business and is available for a mix of days and nights, with weekends required.
