This newly created role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to the company’s legal compliance and risk management efforts.

As a Paralegal or Law Graduate, you will work closely with the commercial and legal teams to assist in managing the administration and internal processes of the business. You will be involved in liaising with internal stakeholders and assisting in the overall day to day running of the commercial and legal teams. There will also be exposure to drafting and reviewing contracts and assisting in the management of litigation, including instructing external lawyers as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- File management of ongoing commercial and legal matters, including e-filing
- Assist in managing communications between the commercial and legal teams with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, Subcontractors/Consultants, finance and insurers.
- Keeping up to date all commercial and legal registers.
- Assisting with the management of company wide agreements and documents.
- Supporting the legal and commercial team in drafting correspondence
- General administrative support as required.

**About You**:

- You are an experienced paralegal who is not currently studying, or are studying a Bachelor of Laws, or Bachelor of Construction Management.
- You have an interest in the construction industry and would be keen to learn more about it either from a commercial or legal perspective, or ideally both.
- You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

**What’s in it for you?**
- ** Hybrid work**: Enjoy the flexibility of working between our Woolloomooloo office and from home.
- ** Part-time hours considered**: We offer flexibility to help balance work and personal commitments.
- ** Professional but relaxed work environment**: Work within a team-oriented, friendly, and supportive culture.
- ** No billable hours**: Focus on quality work rather than chasing hours.
- ** Opportunity to make an impact**: Take ownership of this newly created role and help shape and streamline our legal processes and systems.

**Join a growing, close-knit team** in a company that values long-term professional development. If you are a motivated, detail-oriented legal professional looking to make your mark in the construction industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Heads up Our office will be taking a little holiday break from Monday, 23rd December to Friday, 5th January. We’ll be back and ready to connect with you on Monday, 6th January 2025.
