Reporting to the Head of Education Services we are seeking a Medical Educator to provide expert advice and practical support to our Education Development and Delivery Portfolio.

The incumbent will ensure RACS’ education programs, activities and resources:

- comply with RACS’ strategic direction and policies
- foster learning and demonstration of learning by:

- incorporating evidence-based education principles
- implementing andragogical approaches to training and assessment activities
- utilising appropriate technologies

This role will deliver professional development courses for our fellows, supervisors and faculty.

We are looking for someone that will provide educational expertise to committees across examinations, professional development and skills training departments.

**Skills and experience**
- Postgraduate qualifications in education
- Health Professional background
- Extensive experience in faculty development and teaching others how to teach
- Experience in design and development of courses
- Experience in assessment methodology
- Willingness to work flexible days including weekends and evenings and ability to travel within Australia and NZ to facilitate courses
