**The opportunity**:
This senior position presents a wonderful opportunity for a strategic thinker to drive innovation and inspire teams, leading to the long term sustainability of the service.

You will lead the Environmental Services Team in Tasmania’s only tertiary referral hospital. The Royal Hobart Hospital supports around 250,000 Tasmanians in the southern region together with specialist referrals from the rest of the State.

**The fine print**:

- Permanent, full time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight
- $104,756 - $118,730 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You will also have access to salary packaging which includes a range of benefits like living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meals and entertainment every year
- Salary range is in accordance with_ Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022_
- Actual hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

**Eligibility**:
The Head of the State Service has determined that the people nominated for these vacancies are to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

- Conviction checks in the following areas:

- Crimes of violence
- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
- Identification check
- Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
