**About Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV)**:
CAV is seeking both full-time and part-time applicants for several Ballarat based Enquiries Officer roles. The Consumer Affairs, Liquor, Gaming and Dispute Resolution group of the Department of Justice and Community safety leads regulatory functions across the Justice portfolio. Our aim is to assist people in the community, especially those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged and our vision is a connected justice and community safety system, working to build a safer, fairer, and stronger Victoria.
**About the role**:

The IDSC provides contact centre services across Consumer Affairs legislative remit, including (but not limited to):
- Renting/tenancy and Specialist Disability Accommodation
- Residential Tenancies Bond Authority (RTBA)
- Australian Consumer Law
- Occupational licensing schemes administered by CAV
- Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) Helpline

**FOR INTERNAL VPS EMPLOYEES**:
The Department has legislated duties to provide and maintain a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its employees and other workplace participants. Consistent with these duties the Department has implemented a COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires all employees who are, or may be, required to work for the Department outside their ordinary place of residence to be COVID-19 vaccinated within the timeframes specified by the Department and/or any timeframe set by any Chief Health Officer direction. The policy applies to all new and current employees.
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**:
The department is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its employees consistent with the department's obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic).
Therefore, there is a requirement that all DJCS employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to undertake duties outside of their homes.
