This role will support our Bank’s transformation journey which has a focus on risk which is the backbone to banking and financial services. The Learning Design Lead will be responsible for defining, design, development and implementation of agreed learning solutions. Providing expert advice in the field of learning design and capability development is the core element of this role.

This role will liaise with senior Sponsors to understand the various streams within the Program in order to create the Program’s learning roadmap. You will manage the design and development and will integrate effective learning solutions to create a seamless and sustainable capability uplift for the program specifically, and for the organisation more broadly.

Not only does this role require extensive experience in the field of learning, but it requires significant learning consultancy and design skills and the ability to synthesise program objectives into tangible performance focused outcomes.

The role will report to the Senior Manager, Learning Design and will work closely with each Program stream Stakeholders and the broader Organisational Capability team. The role is likely to have direct reports to accommodate the anticipated volume of work via internal resources or external learning partners specifically for any design and development.

**This role can be based in any of our main office locations**: Adelaide, Bendigo, Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne - as required, in a hybrid approach with the ability to work remotely. The role will require the ability to have flexible working hours to meet the needs of the business with inter and intrastate travel as required to meet the needs of the business.

**Knowledge & Experience needed**:
Exceptional consultation skills and advanced ability to interpret and define business outcomes, learning needs and derive appropriate measurement processes to demonstrate business impact
Strong and proven project management capability combined with the ability to manage and coordinate multiple learning projects into a cohesive program of work
Ability to consider and recommend/influence learning solutions that are contemporary and creative that incorporate adult learning theories, maximising technology, learning on-the-job #learneveryday
High degree of influencing skills and credibility to influence stakeholders in modern and effective learning and development practice.
Financial Services or Transformation program experience and experience working within a purpose led organisation is highly desirable
Content authoring tools (eg Articulate - Rise, Storyline) and designing for Learning Experience platforms are desirable but not essential.
