Mr Bamboo is a well established company on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, operating for more than 30 years. We are looking for a horticulture/landscape enthusiast who is keen to learn all there is to know and love about working with Bamboo. The role we have on offer is varied & flexible and would be suited to a fit & strong allrounder & team player. Living in the Northern Beaches area preferred.

Duties include:
Bamboo installation & Maintenance - Physical labour. Sometimes long days. Installing and/or maintaining bamboo on our client’s premises, working in a team environment.

General Nursery Maintenance - Watering, weeding, pruning, feeding, pest management & upkeep of our nursery and plant displays.

Customer Relations - Sales and horticultural advice, face to face & on the phone. Data entry. Plant deliveries and booking couriers.

Skills required include:
Excellent verbal & written communication and computer proficiency.
Must have own transport & driver’s licence, be punctual & reliable.
Must be physically fit & be able to lift & carry materials.

Employment terms:
Casual / Permanent part-time / Full time. Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 5pm. Depending on successful applicant, we are open to negotiating terms of employment and wages.
