**About Us**

We are a growing manufacturer of architectural metal products made for residential and commercial high-end projects. We are looking for an experienced, highly driven manufacturing supervisor who can take ownership of the day-to-day production requirements to manage our workshop.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of premium products that are manufactured in-house and supplied to residential and commercial builders around Victoria. This role requires you to lead a growing team currently of four workers and create a standard of production in which all deadlines and high-quality product expectations are met.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate workshop team by providing clear and concise instructions and on the job training.
- You’ll work closely with our production planner to align production schedules and achieve deadlines
- Responsible for our team’s safety and workshop's organisation
- Implement and streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
- Implement, monitor, and support operations and products standards
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
- Deliver improved products and brand quality
- Accountable for meeting production goals and enjoy being part of the team’s success

**Experience & Qualification**
- Familiar with the principles of LEAN manufacturing as well as the Lean/Six-Sigma approach
- Experience supervising or managing a team in a metal fabrication environment
- 2 years’ experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of welding, folding, and engineering
- Coach, lead and teach staff within a manufacturing environment
- Clear and concise communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines while having the passion and energy to achieve targets.

**Salary**: $55,338.30 - $109,773.54 per year
