- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $71,286 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 6)
- _Please note, progression in remuneration (up to Level 8 - $75,378 inc. allowances + super + a commuter use vehicle) is available for this position upon meeting performance and training requirements outlined in a structured crew leader framework._
**Great news - EBA6 currently is underway, with a proposed remuneration increase of 5% effective 1 July 2025**:

- 76 hour fortnight
- Location**:Site based** with a home depot location of Burpengary - please note, whilst this position has an allocated home depot location, the work will be based across various sites within the area and our team members will start and finish on the job site. **Travel allowance is applicable** when travelling distances further than your home depot location. Please also note - this position's home depot location will eventually be moving to Narangba.

As a Construction Crew Leader with City of Moreton Bay, you'll play a critical role in delivering essential infrastructure projects that support our community's growth and development. You'll be working on projects related to road rehabilitation, resealing, stormwater drainage, landslips and other infrastructure improvements as required. This position requires technical skill, leadership and a commitment to excellence.

Working closely with the site supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

- undertaking general labouring tasks on civil construction projects
- directing internal and external work teams on site
- interpreting technical project plans and site specifications
- conducting precise survey measurements and site set outs
- strictly complying with safety and quality standards
- monitoring project progress and reporting to the supervisor

We're looking for someone with a proactive problem solving approach, attention to detail in project execution, effective resource management, ability to work in diverse and dynamic environments and adaptability across different project scales and complexities.

**About you**

Ideally you will have recent experience in a similar position using your relative comprehensive skill set. You should be able demonstrate strong knowledge of construction materials, plant and equipment capabilities, including hand tools, with a solid understanding of survey principles, current survey technology and construction specifications and standards. We are seeking someone with proven experience in leading construction teams, including managing contractors across various projects, and who shows proficiency or quick learning ability with technologies and software programs.

Paired with the above mentioned skills and experience we'll need you to hold:

- a current truck licence (minimum class MR - medium rigid)
- a Construction Induction card
- a high risk work dogging (HRW - DG) licence _or the ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement_
- electrical awareness certification _or the ability to obtain within 6 months of commencement_

Having a Certificate III in Civil Construction or a similar qualification in a relevant field is highly desirable_._ However, this qualification is essential for advancing through the Crew Leader Framework.
