3D Artist

**Position Title**: Casual 3D Designer - Product Development Support
**Location**: Punchbowl, NSW (On-Site Only)
**Employment Type**: Casual
**Work Hours**: Flexible by arrangement (1-3 days per week depending on workload)

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimum 1 year experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor
- Strong 3D modelling and technical drawing capabilities
- Understanding of mechanical design principles and product development workflows
- High attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs
- Experience with product prototyping or manufacturing is advantageous
- Sheet metal design experience advantageous

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for new and existing products
- Assist with design development tasks including component layout, fitment studies, and mock-ups
- Prepare documentation for internal prototyping and supplier quotations
- Support the product manager with design updates and adjustments
- Organize and maintain accurate file management of all CAD data
- Provide visual renderings for concept presentations when required

**Tools & Platforms**
- SolidWorks (primary)
- AutoCAD or Inventor (project-specific as needed)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Company-provided workstation and software license

**Suggested Pay Range for Your Role**

Given that your position is a **casual, on-site** role in Sydney requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience with company-provided equipment, a competitive hourly rate would be in the range of **$38 to $45 per hour**. This range reflects current market standards and accounts for the flexibility and support provided by your company.
