**Your role**
Our Client is looking for a Wellsite Geologist to join their Subsurface Well Delivery team to provide operational support during Bowen Basin Tight Gas Sands drilling activities. The Wellsite Geologist will be responsible for real-time monitoring and interpretation of wellsite data, onsite supervision of mudlogging, coring, wireline logging and subsurface data acquisition operations. In addition, the Wellsite Geologist will provide geo-steering expertise and support for horizontal drilling activities to ensure well bore is within planned reservoir target.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide operational support during drilling activities, including real-time monitoring and interpretation of wellsite data, onsite supervision of mudlogging, coring, wireline logging and subsurface data acquisition operations.
- Provide geo-steering expertise and support for horizontal drilling activities to ensure well bore is within planned reservoir target.
- Deliver and manage Subsurface related process safety requirements
- Deliver regulatory/compliance reporting requirements for pre
- and post
- well delivery
- Engagement with regulatory and permitting teams to provide subsurface input.
- Fully document all work products and manage data in compliance with Shell procedures.

**Your background & experience**
- Geoscience degree and/or relevant qualifications
- Extensive experience in wellsite geology and directional drilling operations
- Demonstrated well drilling experience including HSSE critical activities for high pressure
- Relevant Bowen Basin tight gas sand experience is advantageous
- Managing multiple internal interfaces across the natural/matrix project team
- Strength in coaching and mentoring; and a tested capacity to influence and deliver through others
