Maintenance Fitter

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Railton site

**Your Opportunity**
- As a Maintenance Fitter you will:

- Work within all known site safety and environmental procedures, contributing to a positive safety culture.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities.
- Work on various fixed plant equipment, e.g Hammer crusher, vertical roller mills, ball mills various pumps and coveryour belts.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance days.
- Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Ensure appropriate housekeeping during and on completion of maintenance tasks.
- Supervise small work groups (contractors) as required.
- Day shift role, with the standard hours of work 7am
- 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
- Elect to join the shift roster which rotates you to an afternoon shift every 8th week working 3pm
- 11pm for a week.
- Elect to join the call-out roster, with generous compensation.

**What**You’ll** Bring**
- Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker trade qualification
- EWP, LF, Dogging and Rigging tickets highly desired
- Experience in computerized maintenance systems including SAP
- Experience working in maintenance roles in heavy industry or mining
- A strong focus on safety and compliance
- Good problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to manage execution of projects and supervise a small team
