Our client, a local Council, is seeking an Open Spaces / Parks / Labourer.

**PREVIOUS LANDSCAPING / PARKS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL - MECHANICALLY MINDED PEOPLE HIGHLY REGARDED**

**WHITECARD ESSENTIAL**

**| 9 DAY FORTNIGHT |**

**| 6.00am - 3.00pm |**

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Complete maintenance activities and requested works relevant to Open Space & Waste networks; including mowing, brush cutting, edging, tree planting, trimming, gardening, landscaping, turf maintenance, green litter removal, playground maintenance, park infrastructure maintenance, irrigation system maintenance, removal of dumped rubbish, general cleaning of public amenities or other work relevant to open space / waste maintenance.
- Undertake other duties as requested by your supervisor
- Work as part of a team

**You will have**:

- Experience in undertaking Parks and Gardens maintenance activities
- Experience in operating a variety of horticultural plant & equipment; small area mowers, brushcutters and tools used in turf and garden maintenance
- White card
- Own transport or live locally to Picton

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Picton, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Garden / Landscaping: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (required)
