**Job tasks and responsibilities**

About this Position

Reporting to the owner and manager, the key outcomes of this position are to grow the retail sales of the business and to assist our customers in achieving their health goals.

You will be responsible for
- Being proactive, greeting customers and providing exceptional customer service.
- Assisting with prescription procedures
- Helping to maintain the store layout, presentation, department sales and catalogue implementation.
- Maintain a tidy and organised shop through general cleaning.
- Processing sales
- Stock and inventory maintenance
- Work collaboratively with the team to drive health promotions, such as Sleep Apnoea, Webster packs, and vaccination services.
- Provide flexible support across departments by assisting all customer service areas, including vitamins, cosmetics and general retail.

**Skills and experience**
- **A Full-time or part-time position is available which would suit a recent school leaver looking for a career in pharmacy. This role is not suitable for university students. Full training will be provided for the right applicant. Previous retail and customer service experience is an advantage. **_
- Community pharmacy experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and previous experience in retail and customer service
- A high level of motivation and positive attitude
- Demonstrated success in increasing sales and achieving targets
- A passion for retail, particularly beauty, health and well-being, and a genuine commitment to the customer.
- Flexible and available to work on weekends
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
