Sheetmetal Trades Worker

We are seeking a full time Sheetmetal Trades Worker who will be able to work independently or as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Reading engineering drawings and specifications to determine job, material and equipment requirements for ventilation, ductwork installations.
- Determining the physical dimensions of sheet metal components.
- Selecting and inspecting raw materials such as stainless steel, galvanized iron, mild steel, aluminum and checking sizes, gauges, and other dimensions of metal stock against specifications.
- Cutting, shaving, bending, and pressing metal bodies to required dimensions.
- Traveling to project sites and do on the fly modifications if needed.
- Connecting pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws.
- Coordinating required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
- Carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties on equipment as directed by supervisors.
- Transferring his skills to other staff as directed by supervisors.

**Requirements/Skills Qualification**:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- High organization and management skills
- Able to understand basic calculations
- Ability to undertake manual work
- Ability to use tools and machinery
- Attention to detail and accuracy

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
