**HERRENKNECHT AUSTRALIA**

Herrenknecht is a world-leading supplier of mechanized tunnelling machines and associated equipment for all round tunnelling solutions. Herrenknecht Australia, a subsidiary of the global organisation, operates with a small, dedicated team offering site support to active local tunnelling projects before, during and after TBM excavation. In-house engineering capabilities allow us to work with tunnelling contractors to find solutions to unique and challenging problems related to tunnel construction.

We are currently seeking a **General Labourer for Mechanical Activities** to join our team.

**THE ROLE**

This role reports to the Workshop Manager. The purpose of the **General Labourer for Mechanical Activities** position is to support current and upcoming Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) projects. The **General Labourer for Mechanical Activities** will be performing workshop-related mechanical activities.

We are seeking an immediate commencement on a casual basis, based in Cooma, NSW.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL**:

- Ideally seeking a General Labourer with relevant technical experience
- Existing forklift licence or willingness to obtain a forklift licence
- Time and task management skills
- Committed, driven and persistent
- Work under pressure and on own initiative.
- Flexible approach and positive attitude
- Operate in a hands-on manner

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $39.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
