**The Role**

Join GPC Asia Pacific's Payroll Team based at our Rowville Support Office. To be successful as our next Payroll Officer, you'll be a motivated and detail oriented person, who is eager to learn and who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. This role is fixed term, 7 months.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Prepare/assist in the preparation and payment of wages and salaries, accurately and on time
- Maintain pay records including timesheets, leave records and related information
- Reconcile payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments and authorised payroll deductions
- Utilising Payforce ADP
- Assist the payroll team when required, especially during various pay cycles
- Generate ad hoc payroll reports as required

**About You**
- An interest in Human Resources, specifically Payroll
- Workday experience highly regarded
- Ability to multi-task
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- An understanding of relevant legislation
- Display a high level of confidentiality
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Be a proactive and driven individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment
