The opportunity The Cloud and Connectivity Specialist is responsible for supporting the SRO cloud and network environments, including general cloud administration, LAN/WAN, firewalls, IT security systems, data centre operations and VoIP systems.
Reporting to the IT Facilities and Connectivity Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Providing second level support services for the cloud and network environment.
- Monitoring cloud and network systems, including security operations.
- Performing adds/moves/changes to the cloud and network environments.
- Maintaining data centres and associated environmental systems.

Who we are looking for To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Expertise in the support and maintenance of multi-cloud infrastructure and networking environments.
- Demonstrated skills with cloud environments including AWS, Oracle OCI, Microsoft Azure or similar.
- Experience in Cisco network routing/switching/firewall administration, operating system administration including MS Windows, Linux, Docker technologies, Cisco ISE or similar.
- General understanding of government enterprise security principles, relevant to cloud environments, network operations and appliances/systems/services.
- High-level communication (written, verbal and interpersonal) and negotiation skills to prepare written reports and consult, communicate with and influence others.
