**About the role**:
The Deputy Manager Occupational Therapy East will provide support and assistance to the Allied Health Manager Occupational Therapy with the coordination, leadership and management of the Occupational Therapy workforce and services within the Allied Health Directorate at Grampians Health Ballarat.

The Deputy Manager Occupational Therapy East supports the Allied Health Manager Occupational Therapy to enhance team building and excellence and is a key role within the Grampians Health Occupational Therapy leadership team and the Allied Health Leadership team at the East Campus.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will assist in the monitoring and allocation of resources for Occupational Therapy across the East campus of Ballarat; are responsible for leading, developing, supporting and mentoring the Occupational Therapy workforce at the Ballarat campus ensuring a high standard of service provision.

**Skills and experience**

You will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the profession with extensive clinical experience and knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice.
- Post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice, leadership, management and/or research or working towards same
- Experience in health sector leadership, management or quality improvement, particularly in a public health service, and in leading an Allied Health service, program(s) or quality projects.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
