Milk Tanker Driver

With the team working well together, we're looking for a driver/supervisor to give hands-on support for both the drivers and the depot manager.

**The Role**

This supervisory driver role might be a step in your career, or where you'd like to settle - the choice is yours. The driving work involves driving and supervisory duties, so there is no shortage of variety. You'll need to do this as part of your normal work, as well as being in a position to advise and support the drivers. This includes:

- Assisting the manager with planning and scheduling
- Helping with driver and customer queries.
- Driving Truck and Dogs and/or B-Double tankers. **(You will need an MC license, or HC with willingness to upgrade)**:

- Farm milk collections and deliveries to our customers’ factories
- Pre-starts, cleaning trucks and so on, as you'd expect
- Following processes to ensure milk quality is of the highest standard for our customer
- Working a regular rotating roster covering days, nights and weekends
- Taking the phone every 2nd weekend to support the manager and team
- Filling in for the manager from time to time

**Training is provided** - all you'll need is evidence of:

- **HC or MC B-Double licence and a clean driving record**:

- Tanker experience is **NOT** essential.
- Your ability to be self-directed and self-disciplined.
- Good positive behaviours, including courtesy, hygiene and communication.
- A history of working to a high professional and safety standards.
- A positive, solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to listen, learn and contribute to the Company.
- Experience in supervising, guiding and supported others.
