At Shadforth, we’re growing a team with a large pipeline of works in the Civil Construction Industry.

To support our growing teams, we’re on the lookout for a Yard Person to work alongside our Northlakes Depot Team.

As a casual role, hours and workdays will vary across the week - we’re open to options to discuss flexibility.

**About the Role**:
You’ll be situated at our Northlakes Depot, reporting to the Projects Supervisor, performing a variety of duties including:

- Responsible for the general up-keep and cleanliness of the depot yard
- Operating Mobile Plant Machinery (loader and excavator) to move and load materials
- Transporting freight to set destinations
- Receiving, loading, unloading and despatching goods

**About you**:
You’ll be a mechanically minded individual, willing to perform manual handling duties, including repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.

Ideally, you’ll have solid experience operating a loader and excavator (with relevant tickets) and a HR truck licence.

Prior experience in civil construction, quarrying, or forestry industries will be highly regarded.
