SHEQ Advisor - Project Management Office

This responsibility includes ensuring that safety, health, environmental, and quality standards are fully integrated throughout every phase of project delivery, from planning to completion. **The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to**:

- Implement the project Health and Safety objectives by conducting thorough site inspections and accurately recording the findings.
- Lead the Project Management Office Portfolio (PMO) in safety to support Operations.
- Working collaboratively across the contract, implement the Health and Safety management plans, emergency response and business continuity planning.
- Lead and manage ICAM and Serious Incident investigations and drive learnings into the site and wider business as required.
- Ensure Ventia SHEQ standards are incorporated into the workplace.
- Undertake reasonable travel intrastate and interstate as required.
- Other reasonable activities as required for the role.

**About you**:

- Certificate IV in WHS. (required)
- Lead Investigator training - ICAM. (required)
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a high-risk construction safety role. (required)
- Lead Auditor qualification. (Highly regarded)
- Current Driver’s Licence. (required)
- Willing to undertake pre-employment checks including but not limited to: Police check, WWCC, medical and psychometric testing.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of legislation, standards and codes of practice.
- Demonstrated experience leading investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions.
- Undertake audits to establish process implementation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Communicating and consulting with a large contractor workforce.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role and industry.
