NSW Government Agency is looking for a Manager to lead a team of Assessment Officers, focused on looking after Child Wellbeing cases.

**About the role**:

- Lead and manage a positive and collaborative team of Assessment Officers to effectively assess risks and needs of students who are identified as being at risk of harm.
- Ensure the provision of consistent and high-quality recommendations, advice and education to schools by the Unit in the area of child protection
- Plan, implement and manage effective operational intake systems and resources.
- Support staff induction and identification of training needs.
- Undertake and document case reviews which examine outcomes for students, systemic practice, inter and intra agency collaboration, legislative and policy issues.
- Provide timely and accurate advice to the Director on emergent issues including systemic, high risk or complex or critical issues and identified trends assisting in the development to address such issues.
- Proactive participation in the Unit's leadership team by contributing to the planning, development and review of operational service provision and by identifying and advising on areas for development.

**Essentials**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field and proven professional experience
- Proven experience managing a team of Case Officers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
