Warehouse Storeperson

We are looking for an experienced warehouse storeperson to provide logístical support at our new Port Kennedy site, initially on a casual on call/part time basis. There is strong potential to grow into a full time role servicing the logístical needs of our customers throughout the drilling, mining and construction industries.

**During a typical workday, you’ll be performing the following tasks**:

- Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles and shipping containers.
- Slotting and retrieval of stock throughout the warehouse, both with forklifts and manually.
- Unpacking of goods.
- Picking and packing orders.
- Dispatch of goods.
- Completing some associated warehouse admin activities.

**The following qualities are essential for the job**:

- Current forklift licence - LF.
- Highly proficient forklift operating skills.
- Previous warehousing/forklift experience.
- Able to complete heavy lifting safely.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently without supervision on site, as required from time to time.
- Reliable and dedicated on the job.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- On call

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
