- Flexible part-time position (0.6 FTE) with school friendly hours an option

Baw Baw Shire Council is seeking a passionate Resilience Officer to strengthen our Emergency Support Team, supporting vulnerable communities during emergencies. in this role you will play a key role in building a volunteer workforce and have the chance to work within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to creating safer communities.

**About the Role**

As the Resilience Officer your role will be to build and strengthen Councils volunteer Emergency Support Team to respond to emergency events, coordinate and maintain the Vulnerable Persons Register and Vulnerable Facilities list and support communities in emergency relief and recovery.

To be successful in this role you will be well planned, with strong interpersonal skills and focussed on delivering outcomes within specified timeframes. You will have a qualification or experience in emergency management, human resources or community development.
