About You The Assistant in Nursing provides a quality standard of nursing care to the patients in collaboration with the Registered Nurse together with clinicians and support services staff. You have good communication and collaboration skills, hardworking, and possesses a can-do attitude in undertaking duties required of an AIN role. Your role is key in providing care and comfort for patients in their daily living activities and assisting them in meeting their basic human needs. Key Accountabilities include (but not limited to)- Implements those aspects of the nursing care plan as delegated by the Registered Nurse- Demonstrates a satisfactory knowledge base for safe practice and informs the Registered Nurse of any change in the patient’s condition in carrying out duties- Maintains good customer relations in a way that acknowledges dignity, culture, values, beliefs and the rights of individuals and groups.- Ensures that all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner- Complies with policies and procedures relevant to this position to ensure the effective and safe operation of the hospital and the welfare and interests of all employees.
