**The opportunity**
The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated Laundry Assistants to join our team at Monash Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Mulgrave.
Our Laundry Assistants responsible for managing and maintaining the laundry services at the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring that the residents have access to clean and well-maintained clothing and linen. You will be valued member of a self-motivated team who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle and the flexibility of permanent work across a 14-day roster. Let us know your availability so we can create a roster that works with your lifestyle.
Current shifts available across a fortnightly roster: Week 1 and 2 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 0930 - 1500.
**Key responsibilities will include**
- Ensure that all areas of the laundry are well kept and that a high standard of hygiene is maintained always.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient laundering, ironing, sorting and delivery of linen and residents personal clothing.
- Operate the machinery to aid the cleaning and sterilisation process.
**Key Requirements**
- It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
- All Aged Care workers are encouraged be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
