The role of the Convenor is to facilitate the provision of restorative justice processes within Youth Justice. This involves engaging with the people most affected by a young person's offending and assisting them to determine an appropriate response to repair the harm, reintegrate young people into the community and reduce reoffending.
The role will include conducting conferences as an approved Convenor under the Youth Justice Act 1992.
