**The Role**

Our Australian Design client is looking for an ambitious and experienced Buyer to join their growing team in their beautiful Brisbane support office location.

Renowned for its feminine silhouettes, the brand effortlessly translates designer luxury into sophisticated yet effortless pieces, embodying their connection to the sun-soaked landscape of Australia.

Reporting into the Head of Product and in collaboration with the Buying team, you will ensure product selection is well considered, pricing strategies maximise sales and customers are always at the core of every decision. They will ensure their selection is supported by data and meets business financial, brand and customer demands.
- Minimum 3 years experience as Buyer
- Influential leader, with strong negotiation experience
- A strong collaborator with the ability to build strong team connections
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Agile and positive, team player

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the buy for your assigned product lines and categories, achieving sales growth targets & GP margin
- Ensure product selection is accurate and considered, every decision is made with the customer in mind with a key focus on fit and quality.
- Pricing strategies are created to maximise sales and profit.
- Analyse product sell-through through SKU and categories
- Identify styles for repeat, markdowns and consolidations
- Forecasting demand and ensure top sellers and repeats are effectively managed through the supply chain
- In collaboration with the design & production departments, create and deliver commercial and on trend product offerings
- Quantify and place purchase orders
- Effective inventory management and data interpretation
- Deliver consistent feedback to the design team
- Trend research
