Exeter General Store is a bustling community hub and destination cafe in the beautiful village of Exeter in the Southern Highlands. We are passionate about serving consistently delicious coffee and meals, paired with authentic friendly service from our team.

We offer team members a supportive, organised and positive place to work. We have recently completed refurbishment of the cafe, providing a fresh new working environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic and team-minded people to join our team and provide our customers with a great cafe experience. We have a range of roles across the business, including:
**Barista / Waiter**

We have positions available for both baristas and waiters across our 7-day operation. As a barista, you will focus on making high quality coffees, and in conjunction with waiters, serve customers at the POS and tables. Specialty barista experience will be well regarded but is not essential. Comprehensive structured training will be provided, with ongoing coaching from skilled and experienced baristas and waiters. May suit a recent school leaver looking to make a start or an experienced person looking to make their next move in hospitality. Either way we will provide you with plenty of training and opportunities to grow. We have full-time, part-time and casual positions available
- we are flexible and can discuss your needs. Long-term permanent positions are available. As a hospitality role, some weekend availability is essential but there is flexibility on hours and days. All shift timings are within 7am-4pm.

**Dishwasher / Busser**

We have both weekday-only and weekend-junior positions available as a dishwasher/busser. Primary tasks include dishwashing using a commercial dishwashing machine, clearing tables and cleaning. No experience is needed for this role, ongoing training and coaching will be provided. As you build your experience and skills through training and time in the role, there is opportunity to progress to a waiter role. On weekdays, shift timings are approx. 10am-4pm, available as either part-time or casual. The weekend positions are an ideal first job for high school students seeking weekend and school holiday work, and a great opportunity to build your experience and teamwork, learning the ropes in a busy cafe. The weekend positions are typically one shift per week, Saturday or Sunday (approx. 9am-4pm), plus shifts available in the school holidays.
