- **WHERE ARE WE**_

Our commercial kitchen is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, on the corner of Clarence St and King St. There is great access to public transport (trains, buses and tramlines).
- **ABOUT THE ROLE**_

The **Stock Controller** is the first and last point of control for all of our inventory, consisting primarily of fresh food ingredients and paper & packaging supplies. This is a new position that has been created due to our phenomenal growth over the past two years.
- MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
- **INVENTORY MANAGEMENT**:_
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming deliveries of food and beverages.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and reconciliation in Kounta.
- Rotate stock to ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management and prevent waste.
- Track all wastage and be able to provide variance reports on a weekly basis.
- **STOCK ORGANISATION**:_
- Organise storage areas, including walk-in cool rooms, dry storage, and packaging stores to optimise space and accessibility.
- Ensure all stock is labelled and stored in the correct location for easy identification and retrieval.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld in storage areas at all times.
- **PROCUREMENT**:_
- Monitor all inventory levels and promptly restock essential items to prevent shortages during kitchen operations.
- Communicate with kitchen operations to identify low stock items and facilitate timely reordering.
- Assist with inventory forecasting based on upcoming orders and adjusting PAR levels as needed.
- **KEY TRAITS THAT WILL HELP YOU SHINE**:_
- Attention to detail and a strong care factor. These are your locations and we want you to keep them looking great and well stocked.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP regulations and the best practices for handling perishable goods.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods. Will suits a cellarman who's sick of lugging 62kg kegs around.

- Mon - Fri 8am to 1pm Casual role. You could pick up additional hours in other areas of the business doing food prep, packing orders or walking deliveries.
