Storeperson - Fabrication

**Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded family owned company, and a recognised leader in the Australian Steel Fabrication and Construction Industry, located in Naval Base.**

We are currently on the look-out for a motivated and willing **Storeperson **with a solid fabrication background to join our friendly and supportive team.

**This position involves**:

- Opening/ closing of the store
- Carrying out basic repairs eg. replacing drill bits, grinding brushes and discs
- Raising purchase orders
- Maintaining/ ordering stock for the stores as required
- Accepting deliveries
- Assisting with materials for various other projects (both workshop and site)
- Forklift operations
- Assisting with testing and tagging

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a metal fabrication workshop
- Knowledge of welding consumables
- Current LF license
- Basic computer skills
- Basic knowledge of hand tools including 5" and 9" grinders
- Current drivers license
- Positive and willing attitude

**Salary**: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Naval Base, WA 6165: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
