**We are looking for a Technology Risk Manager to join our dynamic technology Risk team and to, champion our risk uplift and support the business.
**Job Description** What is this role about?**
The Manager, Technology Risk is responsible for embedding technology risk management frameworks (including cross-divisional monitoring) and day-to-day risk management across Cuscal and within the Technology (ETS) function.
The role is essential for ensuring technology risks are effectively identified, assessed, managed and monitored within ETS but also across Cuscal.
Here’s more of what you’ll work on:
- ** Develop and Enhance Risk Framework**s: Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of Cuscal-wide technology risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- ** Embed Risk Practices**: Work collaboratively with product domains and corporate functions to embed technology risk management practices into everyday activities, embed controls, and monitor/report on issues.
- ** Risk Reporting & Analytics**: Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key risk areas and recommendations.
- ** Focus on AI and Emerging Technologies**: Stay informed about the latest developments in AI and other emerging technologies to proactively identify potential risks. Support Cuscal teams in rapidly adopting new technologies in a safe and controlled manner.
- ** Controls Automation**: Drive initiatives to automate technology risk & controls monitoring processes using advanced tools and technologies.
- ** Innovation Advocacy**: Promote a culture of innovation in risk management practices, encouraging the adoption of new approaches and technologies.
**Qualifications** What can you bring?**
- ** Financial Services Experience**: 6+ years of experience in technology risk management within the financial services industry.
- ** Risk Frameworks**: Strong knowledge of risk management and IT frameworks and standards such as ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and relevant APRA guidelines (CPS234, CPG235, CPS230, CPS220)
- Although not required, any experience in the following would be considered highly desirable: _
- **Emerging Technologies**: Demonstrated experience in managing risks associated with AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies.
- ** Proven Change Leader**: Prior experiencing leading risk maturity uplift at another organisation within a function, business unit or risk class.
