The Salvation Army Foster House provides high quality, person-centred services to people at risk, and or experiencing homelessness. We support men with accommodation, case management, outreach support, financial assistance, connection and referral to other specialist services. The role of the Support Crew Team member is to support the staff and residents of Foster House with some general duties.

We are looking for people who want to help us make a difference for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. You will need to be a good communicator and willing to take direction.

This role will support the residents and operations of Foster House by:

- Retrieving and delivering donations
- Sorting donations such as clothing, household goods and food
- Helping out in our facilities kitchen
- General duties such as cleaning cars, making beds, laundry
- Other duties which may require heavy lifting
- Gardening

This role requires a WWCC, Police Check and valid Covid Vaccination.

Time committment for this role:

- Two days a week, 4-6 hour shifts
- Fixed roster
- Minimum 6-month commitment
