Casual Gardener Position

At JC Assist we are small growing business, we support older people and people living with additional needs to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their community we also support families just needing some extra help.

We currently offer Support Worker services, Cleaning services and we are expanding our Garden Care and Maintenance services.

We’re looking for a friendly and hardworking, motivated, enthusiastic individual with a love of gardening to join our team.

Would ideally suit someone that’s looking to work Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm on a casual basis with no weekends and no public holidays.

The position would involve working 1-2 days a week to start but after probationary period will expand hours to 5days.

All products, tools and equipment supplied along with trailer.

Successful applicants must have some knowledge of lawn maintenance and the use and care of lawn mowers and gardening equipment.

Applicants will require an Australian drivers license, a reliable car with the capability and car accessories required to tow a trailer.

Applicants must have a smartphone and access to internet. (For use of our staff app)

Applicants will also require a current Police check

Applicants must be willing to travel within our service area of Knox, Yarra Valley, Maroondah and surrounding areas.

- Are you willing to travel within our service area of Knox, Yarra Valley, Maroondah and surrounding areas and on rare occasions outside of the area.

- Starting at 1-2 days a week but working up to 5 days a week after probation period.

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
