West End, Australia French Tarts Full time

French Tarts Wholesale bakery is looking for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team 4 afternoons a week from 2pm - 6pm (flexible hours if later start time is preferable).

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bakery premises, including the production area, storage rooms and fridges.
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors to ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment, machinery, and surfaces to meet food safety standards.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in an appropriate manner.
- Ensure that bakery windows are spotless and presentable.
- Collaborate with bakery staff to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the management promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within the given timeframe.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift/move cleaning supplies as required.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with the bakery team.
