Dental Assistant

Dentaltown has a very optimistic team that loves coming to work every day. We currently have a vacancy for a Casual Dental Assistant to work 5 days a week and some evenings.No experience is required but experience is preferred. You must be hard-working and have a positive attitude and be able to receive feedback.

**Duties**:

- Most important task is providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, suctioning, clearing away contaminated instruments and disinfecting rooms and preparing them for our next patients)
- Uploading electronic records, processing impressions, processing x-rays
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records, scanning)
- Second most important task is routinely disinfecting, packaging and steriliding dental instruments
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed (e.g. booking and re-scheduling appointments, taking phone calls, processing payments, liaising with other dental businesses - eg. laboratories, supply companies)

Pay: From $28.34 per hour
