**Description**:
This position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us by delivering outstanding service to meet member needs while achieving agreed performance outcomes and meeting compliance obligations.

**This position is accountable for**:

- Delivering outstanding member service to achieve agreed performance goals which includes:

- Working with our members to achieve their financial goals.
- Opening accounts, processing transactions, and responding to member queries.
- Proactively promoting Defence Bank within Defence, with Defence Industry partners, and within the broader community to grow our member base and product portfolios.
- Completing branch tasks to ensure ongoing compliance with legislation and Defence Bank’s policies and processes.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this position, you will have**:

- At least two years’ experience in a retail sales team ideally within financial services.
- High school certificate or equivalent.

**Demonstrated experience or skills in**:

- Achieving agreed goals in line with individual and team plans.
- Building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Facilitating presentations to small and large groups.
- Picking up new concepts quickly.
- Time management with the ability to handle unplanned interruptions.
